L&R’s journey began in 1978, when two visionary founders, the late Mr. Lee Ah Lin and the late Mr. Rengasamy (Mr. Raju), ventured into the transportation business with a simple purpose “to move goods and connect people.”
By 1980, their growing fleet led to the establishment of Lee Transport Agency, laying the foundation for what would become one of Malaysia’s most trusted logistics partners. As the nation rapidly developed, L&R evolved to meet rising demands, officially incorporating L&R Trading & Transport Sdn. Bhd. in 1991.
With a steadfast commitment to reliability, trust, and customer satisfaction, L&R expanded its capabilities to include freight forwarding, warehousing, container haulage, distribution, and fleet leasing, always guided by the same core principle “We Move to Connect.”
In 2021, the second generation, Mr. Lee Hung Yang (Chairman) and Mr. Lee Hong Boon (Executive Director) , took the helm, bringing renewed vision and innovation while staying true to the company’s heritage.
